SPRINGFIELD – Edmond J. Gralia, Jr., 66, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, MA on October 2, 1954 to the late Edmond J. and Frances M. (Cavallo) Gralia, he graduated from Springfield Technical High School. For 48 years, he held many different positions while employed at Titeflex Corporation. To cherish his memory, Edmond leaves his loving wife of 39 years, Debra (Carney) Gralia of Springfield; his children Katie O’Donnell-Vicente and her husband Craig of Portsmouth, VA, Kelli Magalhaes and her husband Kevin of Hopkinton, MA, Ashley Dion and her husband Jeffrey of Sturbridge, MA and Christopher Gralia of Springfield; his grandchildren Liam & Jacqueline O’Donnell-Vicente and Raegan and Kennedy Magalhaes; his brother John Gralia and his wife Karen of Kennebunk, ME; his Auntie Dot and Uncle Bob; his sister-in-law Linda Bond and her husband Billy of Hampden; as well as his in-laws Jack and MaryAnn Carney of Wilbraham. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins he adored. Edmond cherished the last 33 years spent in Kennebunk, ME with family and close friends. He loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, family and friends. Liam & Jacqueline will especially miss Hulk Smashing Grandpa. Raegan and Kennedy will greatly miss their “Papa”. He was the life of the party and always the first one on the dance floor. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 2:30 – 4 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA followed by a service at 4 PM.
