Dianne B. Little

AGAWAM - Dianne (Beach) Little, 74, devoted wife of the late Allen King Little who passed away in 1991, passed away peacefully at home April 7, 2022. Born May 25, 1947 in Springfield, MA, she was a daughter to the late Weston F. and Anne (Taber) Beach. She was a graduate of Classical High School in Springfield, and furthered her education by graduating from both AIC and Bay Path University. Dianne was a lifelong member of The Old First Church, Court Square in Springfield where she was Chairman of the Board of Music and organized the music at First Concert Series for countless years. She was a member of Mercy Warren Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution since 1966 and was a two-time Regent in 1990-92 and 2000-01. She was employed as an Advertising Executive and Special Events Planner for Steigers and also had been a copywriter for Forbes and Wallace. Dianne loved traveling the world, vacationing at Ocean Park Beach in Maine, and hosting holidays. She also had a passion for dogs and had even rescued a few over the years. Dianne is survived by her sister Pamela Auslander and her husband, Gary, and niece Tracy Scatolini and her husband, Bill all of Wilbraham; nephew Brent Auslander of Hopkinton; 4 great-nieces Mia, Jenna and Ava Scatolini all of Wilbraham, and Haley Auslander and great-nephew Brady Auslander both of Hopkinton. She also leaves her beloved rescue canine companion, Amber. Dianne’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Deborah Huber, Matthew Moretti and Charlotte the dog walker for their support. A gathering of family and friends for Dianne will be held from 11AM-12PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow with a Celebration of Life Ceremony beginning at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield.
