Diann Fox

Diann “DeDe” Fox, of Southwick entered eternal rest on May 6th. She was born in Westfield on March 14th, 1942 to the late Hobart and Bernice Hosmer. She worked for many years at Sherwood wood products in Westfield, and later for the town of Southwick in the Clerk’s office. Diann was a dedicated homemaker who was always on top of the needs of her home. She also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and restoring furniture. She cherished her trips to the beach, traveling and doing her puzzles. Above all was the love she had for her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She leaves a large, loving, and devoted family including her husband of 41 years, Robert Fox, her sons Jimmy, Todd and his wife Kirsten, and Dana; daughters Kecia, Kelli and Husband David, and Monica and husband Todd. She also leaves her siblings Dorcas Zomek and her husband David, Gail Cigal and husband Clayt, Susan Hansen, and her sister-in-law Connie Hosmer. Diann also leaves her wonderful grandchildren Kerri and her husband Mike, James “JT”, Nicholas, Melissa, Michael, Ashlee and her husband Nolan, Billy, Ryan, and Jake; and four great grandchildren Henry, Mason, Ari and Levi. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Luther, and brother-in-law John. Family and friends are invited to the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home for a period of visitation on Tuesday, May 11th from 4-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 12th at 11:00 am at the Southwick Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, DeDe’s family kindly requests that memorial contributions in her memory be made to the Southwick Firemans Association.
