Debra Jean Margoles

Debra J. Margoles will be remembered for her kind enormous heart and how she enjoyed taking care of others. She was a free spirit who enjoyed life, gardening, decorating, and drawing. She loved music and enjoyed going to live shows with her daughter. Being a kid at heart, Debra’s greatest joys were her grandchildren. She would play with them and they had a kinship that will forever be treasured. She was a survivor and a fighter as she pushed through her medical troubles as a trooper, always keeping busy. She enjoyed owning her own commercial cleaning business R&C Cleaning in Connecticut for over twenty years where she cleaned many businesses including various churches and schools.
Debbie sadly passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Chelsea Gomes who she loved fiercely, her husband Joshua and her cherished grandchildren Caleb and Julian. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her father David Margoles and his wife Denise, her beloved Aunt Rachel Margoles Bonavita who cared for her like a mother; her brothers Timothy Margoles and his wife Anne, Edward Gaunt and his wife Wendy; and nieces and nephews.
As per Debbie’s request, funeral services will be held privately by her family and are entrusted to Forastiere Funeral Home. Donations may be made in her memory to Sister of Caritas Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center, 271 Carew Street, Springfield MA 01104.
