Daniel A. Mattoon

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Daniel Archer Mattoon, beloved husband, father, brother and friend on December 29, 2020
Daniel was born in Springfield Ma on September 12, 1952 to parents Archer and Theresa Mattoon.
He served in the Army, where he learned skills to eventually start his own business, Control Systems Specialist. Daniel had traveled the world for his work.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Karin Bouyea, his step daughter, Angela Gauthier and her husband Jeremy of Agawam, Daughter Jennifer Oyarzun and husband Ramon of Elllington, Ct.
Daniel leaves his sisters, Audrey (George) Gradischer of NY, Deborah (Lee) Gould of Westfield, Marie (John) of Agawam, Anne Therrien of NY, Edna Tetrault of Belchertown and Brother Harold (Eileen) of Chicopee.
Daniel was blessed with 5 Grandchildren and will be missed dearly by all. He also leaves several nieces and nephews who dearly loved him.
A funeral mass will be offered on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield. Burial at Agawam Center Cemetery will follow. There will be no calling hours. Masks and social distancing are required.
