Cynthia A. Downs

Cynthia (Cyndi) Downs passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018.  She was born in Springfield on June 11, 1957 to the late David and Millicent (Shand) Chesbro.  Cyndi was a realtor for over 30 years and loved helping make her client’s home ownership dreams come true.  She was a kind, caring and compassionate person who is missed dearly by her family and friends.  She leaves behind her daughter, Candace Pereira, her son Robert Driscoll, and her favorite person in the world, her granddaughter Hailey, all of East Longmeadow.  She also leaves behind several other family members and friends.  Donations can be made in Cyndi’s memory to the Hailey Pereira Education Fund, C/O Florence Bank, 1444 Allen Street, Springfield, MA  01108.  Services were private.  Forastiere Smith Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
