Corinne R. Pierson

Agawam- Corinne (Hansen) Pierson, 82, passed away peacefully January 5, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  Born June 13, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI, she was a daughter to the late Floyd and Loraine (Dilges) Hansen.  Corinne was a long time resident of Agawam, a community that she loved.  She was an inaugural part of the Agawam Senior Center and was a faithful member of the Agawam Congregational Church.  She was employed numerous years as a medical receptionist for several area doctors’ offices where she thoroughly loved her work, especially meeting so many wonderful individuals along the way.  Cori will be remembered for her love of sports and competitive ways.  She was a Daughter of the Nile for 25 years serving as assistant to the Queen of Don and was a member of the Ahlen Temple #84.  Corinne was predeceased by her first husband John P. Siudak Jr. in 1984 and second husband William R. Pierson in 1997.  She will be missed by her sons, David Siudak and his wife, Andree of Chicopee and Robert Siudak of North Richland Hills, TX; grandchildren Melissa Purcell, Jason Siudak, Robert Siudak, Jr. and 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her six stepchildren; brother Kenneth Hansen of Trempealeau, WI and many dear friends.  A gathering of family and friends for Corinne will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 9-11AM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 985 Main St., Agawam, followed by a graveside service at 11:30AM in Agawam Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Corinne’s name to Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA or Agawam Congregational Church 745 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001.
