Concetta Mary Wysocki

Agawam- Concetta Mary (Grasso) Wysocki, 87, died on February 25, 2020 at Heritage Hall. She was born in Jersey City NJ on January 25, 1933 to the late Anthony and Rose (Fazio) Grasso. Concetta moved to Springfield as a child and her family settled in the South End. She graduated from High School of Commerce in 1950 and worked at Springfield Fire and Marine Insurance Company until the birth of her first child. She raised 3 wonderful boys, and retired from the Associated Professional Billing after 18 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Solidarity, on the committee of the Mt Carmel Women’s Club, and helped to organize the Mt. Carmel CYO. Concetta was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who took great pride in cooking for her family. She will be deeply missed by her 3 sons Frank and Keely Smith of Agawam, William and his wife Colleen of Agawam, and Thomas of Agawam, 4 grandchildren Billy, Caroline, Allie Rose and Marykate, 2 brothers John Grasso and Michael Grasso, sister Carol Noel, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Charles Grasso and sister Yolanda Deponde. Concetta’s family would like to thank all the staff at Genesis East for their excellent care. Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday February 27, 2020 form 5-7pm in Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main Street, Agawam MA. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday February 28, 2020 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 128 Williams Street, Springfield.
