Christopher James Dalessio

Chris J. Dalessio, 46, of Chicopee, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 23, 2020. Chris was born on November 2, 1974 in Springfield, MA to Philip and Carol Dalessio. He was the loving husband of Valerie L. Dalessio (Ormsby) and dedicated father and best friend to Tucker and Ty Dalessio. Chris will be sadly missed by his brothers Michael and his wife Michelle, and Joseph and his wife Kendra; his sister Kimberly and her husband Edward Glaszcz; and his Grandmother, Gloria Cyranowski. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Chris graduated from Palmer High School in 1992, and then attended WSU where he met Valerie. He worked at WSU for 20 years. Chris loved spending time with his family fishing, golfing, kayaking, and biking. He was a passionate Chicopee Sharks baseball and soccer coach to countless youths over the years. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 1-3pm at Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 985 Main St., Agawam, MA with a funeral service beginning at 3pm.
