PALMER - Charles “Chuck” Lepow, 41, of Palmer, MA died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 1, 2017. Charles was born in Springfield, MA on February 26, 1976. He leaves his beloved wife, Jolene. In addition to his wife, he leaves his parents, Ginny Lepow of Newton, MA and Steven Lepow of Longmeadow, MA. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Eunice and Melvin Lepow and maternal grandparents, Tylda and Isaac Schwartz. He leaves 2 sisters, Becky Lepow of Framingham, MA and Joey Lepow Weikal (Grant) of Overland Park, KS and his nephews Mason & Hudson Weikal. He also leaves his in-laws Karen & Tim Phillips and Beth Phillips and Victor Fettig.
Chuck was a big presence with a hard exterior, but was soft, caring and sensitive on the inside. Everyone would say that Chuck had a witty and sarcastic sense of humor. He had a special love for his dog, Jake, and the New England Patriots. When the Patriots played, you knew where you could find him. But above all, his first love was his family and taking care of Jolene. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Everyone is encouraged to wear their Patriots attire to the funeral. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, February 7, 2017 from 12 Noon – 1 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home at 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA with a funeral service at 1 PM. Shiva services will be observed on Wednesday and Thursday from 7-9 pm at 18 Holbrook Street, Palmer MA and Saturday and Sunday at 52 Warwick Street, Longmeadow MA.
