Carolyn “Candy” Meadows, 69, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born in Quonset Point, R.I. to the late Naval Master Chief Robert L. and Lois Craig. She attended Holyoke Community college and the College of the Albemarle graduating with a Humanities degree in Nursing. She had an exemplary Nursing career spanning over 30 years in NC, MD, Virginia, and Delaware including travelling assignments in Ohio, Texas, and California.
She was a true renaissance woman gifted with incredible talent in art, gardening, and cooking/baking. There was truly nothing that she could not do! In her spare time, she was an avid reader, enjoyed volunteering and travelling, and spending time with her massive family and special friends. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Anglin (TC), and grandchildren: Zackary, Dane, Tesla and Rory; sisters Rebecca(Guy)Remington, Debra(Ronald)Chechile, Roberta (Billy) Forgues, Michelle (Christopher)Craig, and Robert(Cynthia)Briggs; sister in law Rita(JW)Browder, and Ann Meadows; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Glenn Meadows, son William “Robbie”Howard, brothers Richard Craig and Christopher Craig, and sister Cynthia Briggs. A celebration of Candy’s life will be held Friday, June 3rd at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main Street Agawam, MA from 2-3 pm.
