Carmine Santaniello

Springfield - Carmine Santaniello, 87, Passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018. He was born in Quindici, Italy to the late Salvatore and Candida (Santaniello) Santaniello. He proudly served in the Italian Army prior to moving to Springfield where he lived for the rest of his life. Prior to his retirement, Carmine enjoyed a career working in the Hospitality business. In addition to his parents, Carmine was predeceased by his loving wife, Josephine (Fazio) Santaniello; and a brother, Patsy Santaniello. He leaves his beloved children, Candy Bell (Danny) of Winchester, NH, Frances Duda (Mark) of Ludlow, MA, Salvatore Santaniello (Irma) of McKinney, TX; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 22nd from 9-11AM followed by a funeral home service at 11AM in Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow.
