Beverly L Smith

Beverly L. Smith, 87, beloved wife for 65 years to Harold A. Smith, who predeceased her on February 15, 2017, passed away on August 3, 2017.Born in Springfield, MA on January 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Marie (Craven) Lauer. The most important treasured title she held was that of wonderful wife, loving mother, and beloved grandmother. She enjoyed playing golf in her younger years, playing bridge, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Beverly enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida in the winter, many Disney trips, and going to Hampton Beach. She leaves her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey Smith and Pamela Milcos-Smith of Pennsylvania; her daughter and son-in-law Laurie and Paul Lemoine of East Longmeadow; 4 grandchildren, Paul Edward Lemoine III, Jonathan Lemoine, Christopher Smith, and Marjanna Smith. Her family will receive friends on Monday, August 7th for visiting hours from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a memorial celebration of her life at 11:30 a.m in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverly’s memory to the National MS Society at www.nationalmssociety.org.
