Beverly Ann Paquette

Beverly Ann Paquette (nee Babcock), 76, died peacefully at home on May 25, 2023 with her family by her side after a long illness. Beverly was born on December 28, 1946 in Springfield MA to the late John and Irene (Gallagher) Babcock. She grew up in Springfield and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1964. She went on to attend Springfield Technical Community College. She married Bernard A Paquette and together they made a home in East Longmeadow. She was a homemaker, a terrific cook and a devoted mother to her two boys and wife to her sweetheart Bernie. She was the bedrock and foundation of her family and provided enduring strength, guidance, and love to them up until her death. She enjoyed reading, backyard birding, container gardening, and playing with the family dachshund named Kaylee. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, who will miss her deeply. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 53 years Bernard A. Paquette of East Longmeadow, her two dedicated sons Daniel J. Paquette of East Longmeadow and Kevin J. Paquette of Denver CO, and extended family. Her funeral will be on Friday June 2, 2023 at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 N Main St., East Longmeadow MA. A gathering time will be from 10:30am – 11:00am with a service to follow at 11:00am. Burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield.
