Bertha Azahares

SPRINGFIELD- Bertha (Zerpa Vilca) Azahares 90, died peacefully October 4, 2020.  Born in Cascas, Peru on June 10, 1930, daughter of the late Jose Zerpa and Mercedes Vilca. She resided in Springfield since 1957.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rafael Azahares and her daughter, Ana Judd. Bertha is survived by one daughter, Mercedes Fernandez and her husband Jose; two grandchildren, Rafael Fernandez, Pedro Fernandez and his wife Paris ; three great grandchildren, Mateo, Luna, and Audriana. She is also survived by her sister, Obdulia in Australia, her sisters, Elsa and Victoria and her brother Segundo in Peru along with many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday (Oct. 13, 2020) in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., Springfield, MA (Section F, next to the sun dial) Relatives and friends are invited.
