Barbara J. Bolduc

Barbara Bolduc (83), passed away on August 31, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family and beloved dog Murphy. Born in Springfield, MA on June 12, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Pearl (Beech) Ethier. Barbara and her late husband Gerald Bolduc, who passed away June 16, 1969, owned and operated J & B Enterprise. After her husband’s passing, Barbara raised her three amazing children with a deep love of God and a strong work ethic. Barbara also helped raise her five grandchildren and played an integral part in their upbringing using a hands-on approach with pure love. She lived to watch her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events. She loved Bingo, Uno, and card games and was an avid gardner. She had a servant’s heart and loved helping others. She was known for her famous “Gram’s Meatballs”, “Gramisms”, her big smile and hugs, and her love for all animals-especially her treasured puppy Murphy. Besides her parents and her husband, Barbara was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Hogan and Brenda Montagna. To cherish her memory, she leaves her children Gerald Bolduc and his wife Carole of Ludlow, Raymond Bolduc and his wife Trish of South Windsor CT, and Michelle Scuderi and her husband Nick of Feeding Hills; her daughter-in-law Denise Bolduc and her partner Ken of Chicopee; her grandchildren Kaitlyn Casiano and her wife Ashley, Gaetano “Guy” Scuderi and his fiancée Briana Stanikmas, Vincenso “Vinny” and his partner Monica DeMilta, Nicholas Scuderi and his partner Jacqueline Donahue, and Jerry Raymond “JR” Bolduc and his partner Kelsey Shea; her great grandson who is due December 2021, Weston Cole Casiano; her brother Richard Ethier and his wife Gail of Chicopee; her sister Debbie Ethier and her caregivers Jennifer and Kassy Vorce of Pittsfield; many nieces and nephews; and all her Pheasant Hill friends especially Pearl, Jane, Janine, and June. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday September 4, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, State Street, Springfield.
