Agawam – Angela “Angie” DeFilippo Cremonini, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Heritage Hall North. She was born in Springfield to the late Andrew and Filomena (Ferraro) DeFilippo on October 5, 1924. She was a graduate of The High School of Commerce. Angela was a lifelong communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, a member of the Italian Women’s Club, and the Mt. Carmel Women’s Guild. Most of all being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was her greatest joy. She will be greatly missed for her warm smile and her kind and loving ways not only by her family but by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She loved her many vacations to Cape Cod with her family. Angela was famous for making a tray of her homemade cookies and bringing them whenever there was a family activity to be enjoyed by all the relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Robert “Bob” Cremonini who passed in 1997; and her sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and Alfred Cremonini. She leaves her 2 daughters, Barbara Reseigne and her husband John, and Deborah Braccialarghe and her husband Donald all of Agawam; 4 grandchildren, Alison and her husband Brandon, Paul and his wife Mary, Karen, and Andrea and her husband Tim; 4 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Brett, Ella, and Luke. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, April 8th from 4-7PM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. Angela’s funeral will be held on Monday, April 9th beginning from the funeral home at 8:45AM followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield at 10AM. Burial will follow in Agawam Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
