Angela Nicole (Negron) Chavis

SPRINGFIELD- Angela Nicole (Negron) Chavis, 37, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family; following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
Angela was born on September 16, 1978 in Springfield, daughter of Moses Williams and Carmen Negron. She was last employed as a supervisor in food service by the Department of Youth Services, Springfield. Angela had been previously employed at the Willimansettt Nursing Home, Chicopee. She was a member of Christ Community Church, Chicopee. Angela is survived by her spouse , Cheryl Chavis; 2 sons, Michael Wilson , Ty Chavis, and a daughter, Quiara Wilson all in Springfield; her mother and father; 2 sisters, Daisy Negron and Andrea Negron both in Springfield; her best friend, LaBaysha Olivo and many nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends.Her brother, Anthony Negron passed away in March. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Friday (Nov. 10, 2017)in the Forastiere Family Funeral & Cremation, 45 Locust St., Springfield, with a funeral home service at 12:00Noon. Burial will follow in Springfield Cemetery, 171 Maple Street, Springfield. Angela was a driven advocate of breast cancer awareness and research.
