Alexander W. Richardson

East Longmeadow – Alexander W. Richardson, 78, of East Longmeadow, MA sadly left us on November 8, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Alexander was born on December 11, 1944 in Ludlow MA to the late Alexander M. Richardson and Anna (Andre) Richardson. He worked at the East Longmeadow DPW for 23 years before retiring, where he spent most of his time golfing. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years Bernie Richardson, of East Longmeadow, his sons Tom Richardson and his wife Stephanie, of East Longmeadow, and Allen Richardson and his wife Donna, of Springfield, his four granddaughters Miranda Potterton, Sydney, Serena, and Katerina Richardson, one great-granddaughter, his sister Rose Dennis and her husband George, of Springfield, his brother Larry Andrae and his wife Donna, of Ludlow, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to gather to remember Alex on Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 9am – 11am in Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 N Main St., East Longmeadow MA. A service will begin at 11am.
