Tamara Lee Kelley

LONGMEADOW – Tamara L. Kelley, 75, passed away on January 5, 2018. Born in Springfield, MA on April 6, 1942 to the late Robert and Doris (Simpson) Skala. She received an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, worked as a Preschool Teacher at Sixteen Acres Nursery School and retired from the Shriners Hospital for Children. Tammy was a member of the Pioneer Valley Yacht Club and the Elks Lodge. She was a very creative person and was gifted with the ability to paint and sew. She cherished spending time with the Kelley Family. Above all, Tammy loved her daughters and was very proud of them; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren multiplied her joy. To cherish her memory, she leaves her daughters Deborah Kelley of Vero Beach, FL, Colleen McGorry and her husband James of Longmeadow and Kathleen Kelley of Randolph, MA; grandchildren Michael, Daniel and Christopher Fields, Stephen McGorry and Kathryn Hamilton; seven great-grandchildren and sisters Kathleen Bouchard and Barbara Dexter and her husband Todd. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Chestnut Street, Springfield. A gathering will follow at the Knights of Columbus, 26 Baldwin Street East Longmeadow, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA.
