Susan E. Regan

Susan E. Regan, 48, of Ludlow, MA was called safely home on Saturday, July 29, 2017.  She passed into Eternal Life at her home surrounded by all the memories that she loved and cherished.  Denis Regan, Susan’s husband of 17 years, was by her side. Susan was the beloved daughter of John Tranghese of Chicopee and the late Nancy Tranghese of Longmeadow. She leaves behind her devoted sisters Joanne Martins with husband Fernando of Chicopee, and Jennifer Pozzuto with husband Joseph of East Longmeadow. Susan was raised in Longmeadow and graduated from Longmeadow High School, Class of 1987. She attended Western New England University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Class of 1991. Susan worked at Smith & Wesson for 18 wonderful years. With her years of service at Smith & Wesson, Susan became a sharp-shooter with open sights. Susan loved practicing yoga and spending time with her dog, Jack. Susan loved vacationing at her family’s summer cottage in Lake Winnipesaukee with her nephew and nieces, Jason and Julia Martins, and Nicole and Victoria Pozzuto, who will miss her dearly. Susan will be missed by her extended family, John Regan Sr., John Regan Jr., and nephew Rory Regan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Forastiere-Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St, East Longmeadow, MA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 8:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Christ the King Church on 41 Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA. The burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on 421 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA.
