Rose Catherine Gallinotti

Rose Gallinotti, 89, of Stony Hill Rd., Wilbraham, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017. She was born in Springfield, MA on October 7, 1928 to the late Dominic and Elizabeth Maiolo. She was a longtime Communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Springfield, MA. She worked at Sickles, Carter’s, and the Springfield courthouse for many years. Rose is predeceased by her two sisters, Antoinette and Mary.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Raymond Gallinotti, and her beloved daughter Linda Santaniello and her husband Mickey Santaniello of Springfield, MA. She leaves her four grandchildren, Anthony (Christine), Joe (Shelby), and Andrew (Tanley) Santaniello and Kristin (Christopher) Bertelli along with nine great-grandchildren, Nico, Desiree with her fiancée Scott, Ryan, Joey, Brienna, Nicolas, Ella, Lena, and Madeline. Rose is also survived by her nieces and nephew.
Calling hours will be held on Monday November 27th from 4-7 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28th at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 123 William Street, Springfield. Entombment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum, Springfield.
