Roberta Mae Burns

Roberta Mae Burns, affectionately known as Bobbie, 81, of East Longmeadow, beloved wife to Roger Burns, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Born in Springfield, MA on November 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Aylwin. Bobbie was a hairdresser for many years. She was an avid Red Sox fan and loved to play Bingo. Besides her husband Roger, she leaves her son, Lee Beaudry of Chicopee; 2 daughters, Michelle Dykon and her husband Michael of Enfield, and Denise Letourneau and her husband Keith of Miami, FL; 6 grandchildren, Jenn, Nick, VJ, David, Deanna, and Josh; and 3 great-grandchildren, Carter, Haylee, and Bryn. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Frogameni in 2013. Her family will receive friends on Monday, June 5th from 4-7 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. Her Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, June 6th at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Rose De Lima Cemetery, Chicopee. www.forastiere
