Rhea Evelyn Duprat

Wilbraham-Rhea E. (Gosselin) Duprat 81, passed away on June 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife for 50 years, to the late Roger A. Duprat who passed away in 2004. Rhea retired as a bookkeeper in 2003 from Sunbridge Health Care, (presently Redstone) East Longmeadow ; and previously was employed for 23 years by Shop Rite Super Markets, Springfield. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling and the beach, He greatest joy was her family who will miss her. She leaves 3 sons and their spouses, Roger A. Duprat Jr. and Sandra ; Robert Duprat, all of Springfield, Ronald Duprat and Kathleen of South Hadley; 2 daughters and their spouses, Regina Leete and Andrew of Southwick, Renee Tompkins and Craig of Palmer; 2 brothers, Ronald Gosselin of Chicopee, Gary Gosselin of Rocky Hill, CT; 3 sisters, Joan Waters of Nashville, NC, Elaine Moore of Wilbraham, Gail Britton of Myrtle Beach, SC; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Calling hours are from 4:00 – 7:00PM on Tuesday (June 13) , in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. A funeral home service will take place at 11:00AM, on Wednesday (June 14th) . Rhea had a love of animals and may be remembered by a memorial contribution, in lieu of flowers, to Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, or to Thomas J.
