Phyllis Bull

Feeding Hills – Phyllis Rose (Castonguay) Bull, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2017 at home. She was born in Springfield to the late Lucien and Rose (Boduch) Castonguay on August 31, 1939. She was a 1957 graduate of Cathedral High School. Phyllis worked in food service most of her life. She began as a waitress for many local establishments including Friendly’s, Nardi’s , Valley Steak House and the Monti Carlo all totaling 40 years. She also worked for the Agawam School System as a lunch lady and went on to work for the past 29 years at American International College in the dining hall. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Phyllis will be greatly missed for her generous, kind and loving ways. She leaves her loving husband of 59 years, Lester Bull; 4 daughters, Mary Leete of West Springfield, Leslie Savageau and her husband Rick of Feeding hills, Denise Neal and her husband Mickey of Agawam, and Debbie Low and her husband Chris of Longmeadow; 1 son, David Bull and his husband Richard Learned of Wales, MA; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Joshua, Jacob, Taylor, Kelsey, Adam, Juliana, Kevin and Jamie; 2 great-grandchildren, Emmett and Zayden; her step-mother, Adele Castonguay; 2 brothers Stephen Castonguay and his wife Rosemary of East Longmeadow, and Donald Castonguay and his companion Delores of Southwick; 2 sisters Claire Cloutier and her husband Lawrence of Wilbraham, and Michelle Topor of Boston. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 17th from 4-7PM at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam. Phyllis’ funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18th from the funeral home at 8:45AM followed by a funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills at 10AM.
