Peter David Seibert

Springfield - Peter David Seibert, 71, died Sunday, September 24, 2017, after a brief illness. Peter was born in Springfield on April 6, 1946, the firstborn son of the late Carl Peter and Catherine (Langlois) Seibert. He graduated from Springfield Technical High School and furthered his education at Springfield Technical Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. Peter was a retired machinist. He was a talented athlete playing hockey and baseball for a variety of youth teams in Sixteen Acres. He went on to play varsity hockey and baseball at Technical High School and was honored to be an all-city pitcher. Peter enjoyed playing pool and had a passion for sports cars and racing. During his illness, Peter was pleased to host daily bedside visits from his family and friends. He leaves his siblings, Christopher C. Seibert and his wife Leah of Springfield, Judith S. Clark of Pepperell, Massachusetts, Sharon S. McGill and her husband Harry of Wilbraham, and Leslie S. Rugani of Enfield, Connecticut.
