Laura J. Ringuette

AGAWAM – Laura J. Ringuette, 56, passed away on June 7, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, MA on December 4, 1960 to Norman and Eugenia (Quatrone) Ringuette, she was a graduate of Holyoke Community College with an Associates’ Degree in Nursing. She had worked for 17 years as a Registered Nurse. As an athlete, Laura was a member of the Yankee Rowing Club and FISA World Rowing Federation. She also competed in the Misery Challenge and Blackburn Challenge placing first and third in those races. Besides rowing, she enjoyed fishing, skiing, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling the world especially to Italy and Australia. Besides her parents, Laura leaves her devoted children Michael T. Perry, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Groveland, MA, Mathieu D. Perry and his wife Jessica of Cambridge, MA and Melissa J. Jenkins and her husband Joe Lemire of Agawam; their father Michael T. Perry, Sr. of Agawam; her cherished grandchildren Hannah, Cullen, Ava and Christian Perry and Isabelle and Cameron Jenkins; brother Gregory Ringuette of NH and sisters Ann Marie Meade and her husband Edward of CT, Julie Claffey of ME, Jacqueline Ringuette of Springfield and Amy Ringuette of East Longmeadow. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 833 Main Street, Agawam, MA.
